About Mariano

Interventions for positive change.

I design interventions that improve life and work conditions in the individual, family and corporate arenas.

These interventions use communication in different forms: the spoken word, the body, written text, audio or video.

At the individual level, my clients get a critical, creative and friendly sounding board to safely and fruitfully explore their life and aspirations.

Couples and families get a chance to discover how their members behave towards each other and how they can make their bonds stronger and overcome issues.

At the corporate level, I create tools for:

  • training,
  • sharing values,
  • luring investors or
  • communicating with clients and providers.

I also provide training for first-line and mid-level managers on the social and leadership skills they need to:

  • inspire direct reports,
  • coordinate them efficiently and
  • care for their emotional well-being while
  • fostering loyalty and compliance.

Equally important, I provide mental wellness services designed to preemptively promote the psychological and emotional well-being of your employees, creating a healthy and supportive work environment.

Film Production

I produce drama for film and TV that debunks social stereotypes and promotes cultural understanding. My primary goal is to be engaging and entertaining but I take social responsibility at heart. All my films and screenplays explore alternative ways to understand the human experience and aim to start a dialog about who we are and who we would like to be.

The problem of misinformation that we are living today is not new. Unfortunately, special interst groups make creative use of language, reframing meaning and values to suit their goals. How do we recover from this problem of misinformation?

Management has expressed frustration with young workers, calling them entitled and unhinged. But Gen-z and late Millenial workers decry the older generations for their inability to find work-life balaced. Why can't they see eye to eye?

A central tenet of science is its objectivity, the idea that observations in science are in no way related to the observer or influenced by them and that any observer should describe an objct the same way. Yet the hard sciences rejected this in 1916.
